no i think that in q.8 its asked for the flow of ventricles and arteries becoz when blood enters the ventricles there is the movement of the blood frm auricles to ventricles is anterioventricular valves and from ventricles to arteries it is the semilunar valves.. so the answer is correct as per my view
i think Q 8 answer should be b not c as it prevents the back flow of blood its is done by tricuspid and bicuspid valve.. so can you check the ans
wer…
hey blood flow from arteries to ventricles is by bicuspid valve not from ventricles to artries !!
That is auricle or artrium not arteries
According to question….all options are wrong..as AV valves prevents backflow of blood from ventricle to the auricle…therefore answer should be only semi lunar valve..
I think q.. the ans .of q… 8 is wrong….dt z may be 2..
Because bicus pid and tricuspid wall between artery and ventricle prevent back flow of blood
I think I have studied circulation chapter on this site only!!!!!!!Really PHADU questions with cool answers
the assertion reason’s answer should be (2)
yup…i think d same!!!
http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Why_does_a_child's_heart_beat_faster_than_an_adults
Bt reason is correct example of assertion which explans rate of metabolism as given in assertion
it’s answer is first one itself .because, smaller organisms has has higher rate of metabolism
The answer shud be b because reason is not a correct explanation for the assertion
i also agree that answer of A-R qustn should be 2 bcoz though the metabolic rate of smaller organisms is higher but the reason does not correctly explain why is it so.
Question 8 all options are wrong . The valves which allow the flow of blood from ventricles to arteries are the pulmonary and the aortic semilunar valves
I think q15 answer should be (b)
YEAH I ALSO GO WITH SAKSHAT RAVINDRA ,THE ANSWER FOR Q15 SHOULD BE (B)
